Record numbers at Pho3nix Kids Philippines

Nearly 300 kids raced the fourth Pho3nix Kids Philippines event on October 14 at the New Clark City Aquatics Centre in Capas, Tarlac, marking the largest turnout yet for the series in its first year. Children ages 5 to 17 splashed, cycled, and ran to a fun-filled finish across five multisport categories including duathlon, triathlon, and fun runs featuring age-appropriate distances. Every finisher received a Pho3nix Kids medal and breakfast meal at the finish line as well as timed results post-race. Advanced Duathlon and Advanced Triathlon participants competed for age group awards and trophies. Finishers automatically entered a giveaway for one GT Stomper Prime bicycle courtesy of RD Cycles, while Milo Philippines provided over 100 pairs of free running shoes for participants. Pho3nix Kids Philippines has seen a 69% jump in year-to-date attendance since its first race in March. Pho3nix Sports Awards nominee’s announced – VOTE NOW

The Pho3nix Sports Awards shine a spotlight on those individuals who demonstrate outstanding athletic achievements and embody the values of the Pho3nix Foundation, aiming to inspire and motivate people of all ages and backgrounds to rise above challenges and pursue their sporting goals. In celebrating the achievements of those who are part of the Pho3nix family whether as participants, supporters, or mentors, the Pho3nix Sports Awards foster community and connection among participants, supporters, athletes and most importantly, fans. Four athletes have been nominated for each of four categories: the Pho3nix Kids Award, the Pho3nix Next Gen Award, the Pho3nix Ethos Award, and Pho3nix Extraordinary Performance. Public voting for each category runs from the 10th to 31st October 2023 on the Pho3nix Sports Awards website. Voters will get a chance to win an Amazon gift card worth €500 by registering a user account and voting once per category. The winners will be announced via a virtual Sports Awards Show on the 9th November 2023. World-renowned production company Gravity Media will deliver the show, hosted by Australian sports and travel presenter Will McCloy. Pho3nix Foundation launches Sports Awards

The Pho3nix Foundation is thrilled to launch the Pho3nix Sports Awards, a celebration of the transformative power of sport. The awards reinforce the connection between Pho3nix participants, supporters, athletes and most importantly, their fans. Operating virtually once per quarter with winners selected through public voting and announced via an online awards show, the Pho3nix Sports Awards aims to recognise those who demonstrate outstanding athletic achievements and embody the values of the Pho3nix Foundation, a nonprofit operating globally through projects that engage children in physical activity and pave pathways to progression to the highest levels of sport. Eligible for nomination are athletes within the Pho3nix ecosystem: the Pho3nix Team, Pho3nix Junior Team, Pho3nix Future Camp, Pho3nix Athlete Program, Pho3nix Kids Triathlon and Pho3nix Education Programs.
