A Milestone Year for Pho3nix Kids by Nicola Spirig

The Pho3nix Kids by Nicola Spirig program celebrated an incredible milestone in 2024, engaging over 12,000 children across Switzerland through events that promote active lifestyles and inspire kids through sport.
Since its launch in 2021 as the evolution of the Kids Cup by Nicola Spirig, the partnership between the Pho3nix Foundation and the Nicola Spirig Foundation has seen the kids’ triathlon series grow from nine events to 11, the most ever in a single season. Many events saw record participation, with nearly 400 children each at the last two events in Locarno and Schaffhausen.
Through Kids Triathlons, Camp Days, Activity Days, School Workshops, and partnerships with events like Kids Sport Day Bern and Weltklasse Zurich, Pho3nix Kids by Nicola Spirig remains committed to creating inclusive, fun, and dynamic sports experiences for children of all abilities.
This year, Pho3nix Kids by Nicola Spirig partnered with Fit4Future to deliver Active Days in major cities including Bern, St. Gallen, Zug and Lausanne, expanding Pho3nix Kids’ access to engage over 2,000 students from 80 schools.
Integrating activities with other Swiss national sports associations including the Swiss Rugby Federation, Swiss All-Star Basketball, and the Swiss Pickleball Association into Pho3nix Kids events has enriched the experience and has also broadened children’s exposure to diverse sports and activities in addition to the sport aptitude testing activities already offered.
To keep the program fresh and exciting, plans are underway to update sports modules, refresh equipment, and align testing more closely with triathlon-related activities.
The 2025 event calendar features returning venues and three exciting new events.
