Zoe Kalapos

Zoe Kalapos is an American snowboarder and junior vice world champion specialising in halfpipe. While she first hit the slopes on skis, she started snowboarding at five years old encouraged by her father who built a mini terrain park in their backyard called “Mt. Kalapos”. At the age of 13 she moved to Colorado with her father and brother to pursue snowboarding competitively, while her mother stayed in Michigan to continue work as a school teacher. After five years of sacrifice, the family has finally reunited as Zoe continues her quest for Olympic qualification.
