Kate Waugh
Kate Waugh has already proven her mettle with impressive junior and U23 achievements, including world and European titles. Transitioning to the senior World Triathlon circuit, she sets her sights on the ultimate stage: the Paris Olympic Games.
While she earned her first world championship stripes in 2022 as part of the British mixed relay team in Hamburg, her breakthrough moment came a few months later in Abu Dhabi claiming the world title in her final year racing U23.
The momentum continued in 2023 with her first Top 5 finish at a World Triathlon Championship Series race, playing a crucial role in Great Britain’s mixed relay silver at the Paris Olympic test event, and winning the Super League Triathlon Championship. She has also secured a career-high world #6 ranking after finishing second in the WTCS finale in Pontevedra.
