Pho3nix Supports 15 Winter Athletes on Road to Milano Cortina 2026

The Pho3nix Foundation is proud to announce its support of 15 athletes through its Athlete Program for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milano Cortina.
These athletes represent 12 countries across Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific, competing in seven of the 16 Winter Olympic disciplines.
For many athletes, the journey to the Games comes with immense physical, mental, and financial challenges. Despite being among the best and blazing new trails in sport for their nation, many must work multiple jobs to support their training and competition.
The Pho3nix Athlete Program aims to assist underfunded Olympic and Paralympic athletes to compete on the world’s biggest sport stage. By providing funding for their training, equipment, competition and travel expenses, the Pho3nix Foundation helps level the playing field, allowing these hopefuls to focus on being competitive in qualifying for the games and at their best on their biggest day.
As part of its commitment to growing children’s participation in sport, Pho3nix also highlights these athletes’ journeys of determination and resilience overcoming adversity as they embody the Foundation’s motto of ‘Together We Rise’.
On the Pho3nix Athlete Program roster, veterans stand shoulder-to-shoulder among those targeting their first Games appearance. Sarah Blizzard (AUS) seeks Olympic glory in bobsleigh after representing her nation as an alternate in Beijing, Italian ski flying record holder Alex Insam returns after being supported by the Foundation in the previous cycle, and Pho3nix Future Camp alumnus Tim Aufdermauer (SUI) steps up for his first-ever Olympic campaign in freestyle skiing.
Three athletes also are set to make history: Oriol Cardona Coll (ESP), Maximilien Drion (BEL) and Robin Galindo (FRA) hope to lay claim to the first ever Olympic medals awarded for ski mountaineering, which debuts in Milano Cortina.
The Pho3nix Athlete Program has assisted nearly 100 athletes from 30 nations and six continents across 31 different sports through Tokyo 2020, Beijing 2022, Paris 2024 and now Milano Cortina 2026. Its athletes and alumni have achieved a grand total of three Gold medals, one Silver medal, three World Records, and a Paralympic Record and have left a lasting legacy inspiring their communities and setting the stage for the next generation.
