Olympic great Adam Ramsay-Peaty OBE joins star-studded Pho3nix Sport with Purpose Charity Gala

Three-time Olympic champion Adam Ramsay-Peaty OBE will join an extraordinary gathering of sporting greats at the 2026 Pho3nix Sport with Purpose Charity Gala in London this November.

One of the most decorated and influential swimmers of his generation, Ramsay-Peaty will be among the special guests at The Peninsula London on Friday 20 November, for an evening bringing together leading names from sport, business, entertainment and philanthropy in support of the Pho3nix Foundation.

Across a remarkable career, Ramsay-Peaty has won six Olympic medals, including three gold, and eight World Championship titles. His dominance of breaststroke helped redefine the event, becoming the first man to swim the 100m breaststroke in under 58 seconds and later the first to break the 57-second barrier.

His breakthrough Olympic moment came at Rio 2016, where he won gold in the 100m breaststroke and silver in the 4x100m medley relay. Five years later in Tokyo, he successfully defended his individual Olympic title and added gold in the mixed 4x100m medley relay, before claiming his sixth Olympic medal with silver in the 100m breaststroke at Paris 2024.

Now, Ramsay-Peaty will bring his presence to a very different stage as he joins some of the biggest names in British and international sport for a night centred on the transformative power of sport.

The Pho3nix Sport with Purpose Charity Gala will raise vital funds to support the Pho3nix Foundation’s work creating opportunities for children to be active, participate in sport and build healthier, happier futures.

Ramsay-Peaty said sport had shaped his life far beyond competition.

“Sport has given me so much throughout my life, not only through competition, but through the confidence, resilience and sense of purpose it can create. Every young person should have the opportunity to experience those benefits, regardless of where they come from or the barriers they might face.

“I’m proud to support the Pho3nix Foundation and its work to give more children the chance to get active, discover sport and realise their potential. I’m really looking forward to being part of the Gala and an evening that brings people together around such an important purpose.”

Hosted by James Corden, the Gala will bring together an exceptional line-up of Olympic champions, sporting legends and influential figures, including six-time NBA champion Scottie Pippen, four-time Tour de France champion Chris Froome, Britain’s most successful female Olympian Dame Laura Kenny, two-time Olympic swimming champion Rebecca Adlington OBE, Rugby World Cup-winning England captain Lawrence Dallaglio, Olympic triathlon champions Alistair and Jonny Brownlee and former England cricket captain Sir Alastair Cook.

Adding even more Olympic star power will be Britain’s celebrated Super Saturday trio – Jessica Ennis-Hill, Sir Mo Farah and Greg Rutherford, who famously claimed three Olympic gold medals for Great Britain within 44 unforgettable minutes at London 2012.

From the basketball courts of Chicago and the mountains of the Tour de France to the Olympic velodrome, athletics track, swimming pool, rugby field, cricket pitch and triathlon course, the 2026 Gala will bring an extraordinary collection of sporting champions together under one roof.

Together, guests will celebrate the impact sport can have beyond competition and help raise funds to expand access to sport and physical activity for children around the world.

The Pho3nix Foundation works globally to remove barriers to participation and inspire young people to become more active through programmes and initiatives that harness the power of sport.

Further special guests and Gala announcements will be revealed in the lead-up to the event.
