The Pho3nix Foundation is proud to partner with Austrian professional ice hockey team Vienna Capitals to launch the Pho3nix Vienna Capitals Youth Ice Hockey Program.
As part of a long-term plan to revolutionise youth sport development in the region, it aims to address recognised concerns in the development of junior ice hockey in Austria: lack of ice time and equipment, poor infrastructure, high costs, and meagre media attention.

The Pho3nix Foundation also commits to providing scholarships to young children from underprivileged backgrounds so they have the opportunity to participate regardless of their socio-economic status.

The Pho3nix Foundation is equally committed to the development of coaches, ensuring that the next generation of players is supported by skilled and passionate mentors. The program culminates in a tournament, where young athletes can showcase their progress

By offering these resources, the foundation ensures that children have the opportunity to develop their skills and passion for the game.

Who are the Vienna Capitals?
The Vienna Capitals are an Austrian professional ice hockey team that participates in the ICE Hockey League. Founded in 2001, the Capitals play their home games in Vienna, Austria, at Steffl Arena.
Through the Vienna Capitals Youth Ice Hockey Program, the Pho3nix Foundation works with the Vienna Capitals as the flagship club and seven other ice hockey organizations in eastern Austria.
What are the other participating clubs in the Vienna Capitals Youth Ice Hockey Program?
The participating clubs are: the Stock City Oilers (Stockerau), UEC Dragons Mödling, Eisbrecher Klosterneuburg, Hollabrunn Wild Hogs, ENZO (Eishockey Nachwuchs Zentrum Ost), the Mad Dogs Wiener Neustadt and the Wiener Eislauf-Verein.
The Pho3nix Vienna Capitals Youth Ice Hockey Program is also supported by the Vienna and Lower Austrian Ice Hockey Associations.
