Jakub Hrones

Jakub Hrones etched his name into the history books by becoming the first to successfully execute a triple flip off a rail (officially titled a Switch Boardslide Switch Triple Underflip 1170). "Kuba", as he is affectionately called, hails from the ski resort town of Špindlerův Mlýn and snowboarded for the first time at two years old. Focused on Alpine skiing from the ages of six to 13, he converted to competitive snowboarding after placing second at the MČR Vítkovice. He has now competed against the best snowboarders in the world, seeing how far he can push his limits.
