Pho3nix Foundation launches Sports Awards

The Pho3nix Foundation is thrilled to launch the Pho3nix Sports Awards, a celebration of the transformative power of sport.

The awards reinforce the connection between Pho3nix participants, supporters, athletes and most importantly, their fans.

Operating virtually once per quarter with winners selected through public voting and announced via an online awards show, the Pho3nix Sports Awards aims to recognise those who demonstrate outstanding athletic achievements and embody the values of the Pho3nix Foundation, a nonprofit operating globally through projects that engage children in physical activity and pave pathways to progression to the highest levels of sport.

Eligible for nomination are athletes within the Pho3nix ecosystem: the Pho3nix Team, Pho3nix Junior Team, Pho3nix Future Camp, Pho3nix Athlete Program, Pho3nix Kids Triathlon and Pho3nix Education Programs.

Athletes may be nominated for achievements from within the past 12-month period for one of four categories:

• The Pho3nix Kids Award recognises a participant from any kids project that inspires by showing all of us what it means to rise;
• The Pho3nix Next Gen Award recognises a member of the Pho3nix family from ages 14-20 who inspires their peers through their athletic performance, setting an example for others to follow as they forge their own way along the Pho3nix Pathway;
• The Pho3nix Ethos Award goes to a Pho3nix of any age who truly displays the ideals at the core of the Foundation as they pursue their sporting goals; and
• The Pho3nix Extraordinary Performance awards a Pho3nix of any age or level who has delivered a sporting performance that has truly inspired.

The Pho3nix Sports Awards Nomination Panel is tasked with identifying prospective nominees and shortlisting those who will progress to public voting. Chaired by Pho3nix Foundation chairman and founder Sebastian Kulczyk with representatives from the Pho3nix Foundation and Mana Sports and Entertainment Group, the Panel will deliberate to ensure that nominees align closely with the core values and ideals of the Pho3nix Foundation, upholding the integrity of the awards and guaranteeing that exceptional accomplishments are properly acknowledged.

Once the quarterly nominees are announced, the Pho3nix Sports Award website will host public voting for the following three weeks. Those with the highest number of votes in their respective categories will be awarded.

Members of the public can get a chance to win an Amazon gift card worth €500 by registering a user account and voting once per category.
