Rising Through Sport: Pho3nix’s Purpose-Led Year of Impact

For the Pho3nix Foundation, 2025 was a year powered by purpose.

At our core is a simple but potent belief: sport can change the world. From first steps into movement to the pursuit of the pinnacle of sport, Pho3nix has translated this belief into tangible, measurable impact.

Our footprint has expanded further than ever before. In 2025, Pho3nix reached 50 nations and established a presence across six continents. From the sunlit coasts of Ghana to the alpine peaks of Switzerland, from classrooms in Poland to communities in Chile and across the Americas, thousands of children accessed sport for the first time. Promising juniors found mentorship. Aspiring Olympians and Paralympians received the backing they needed to dream bigger, train harder, and compete stronger.

New partnerships opened fresh pathways. The launch of the Tipo Boxing Academy in Nigeria, Pho3nix Kids Football in Rwanda, and Pho3nix Vienna Capitals Hockey Academy in Austria extended our mission into new regions, creating safe, structured environments where young people can rise through sport. At the same time, our mass participation Pho3nix Kids programs continued to grow, with new events added in Switzerland and Ghana and increased attendance across existing initiatives worldwide in Poland, Switzerland, Greece, England, Spain, Thailand, the Philippines, and Australia.

Education and community engagement remained central to our work. In the United Kingdom, the introduction of the Pathways Program strengthened long-term development opportunities, while in Poland the Pho3nix Active After School initiative expanded access to daily movement and sport for young people. These programs bridged gaps, created consistency, and embedded sport into everyday life, where its impact is felt most deeply.

At the elite end of the pathway, the Pho3nix Athlete Program entered its fourth overall cycle and its second dedicated Winter Games intake heading into Milano-Cortina 2026. With a refined and targeted approach, support was directed where it could be most productive, ensuring athletes at every stage of their journey received what they needed to progress, perform, and persevere.

Standing at the heart of the year was a defining moment: the inaugural Pho3nix Sport with Purpose Charity Gala. After six years of building something real and life-changing, the Gala became both a celebration and a statement of intent. It was an opportunity to share the Pho3nix story with the world and invite others to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with a movement powered by purpose.

From James Corden’s humour to Usain Bolt’s charisma, from Anthony Joshua’s strength to Chris Froome’s quiet gravitas, the evening brought our vision into sharp focus. Yet behind the lights and the applause was something far more enduring. The Gala was a rallying call and an invitation: to believe in sport’s power to transform lives, and to help carry that belief forward.

Pho3nix is not just growing; it is enduring. From a spark of inspiration to a lifetime of participation, we are building a legacy where every child, everywhere, has the chance to rise through sport. As we look ahead, we will harness the momentum of the Gala, expand the reach of our programs, and embed lasting change in communities around the globe.

The next chapter is not defined by scale alone, but by permanence: structures that last, habits that endure, and belief that carries forward through generations.
