These icons are not just champions of sport, but also of change. As ambassadors for the Pho3nix Foundation, they’ve reached the pinnacle of their disciplines and are now paying it forward by creating real opportunities for kids to move, grow, and thrive through the transformative power of sport.

Leading the charge is Chris Froome, one of the most decorated cyclists in the history of the sport. The four-time Tour de France champion, dual Vuelta a España winner, and Giro d’Italia titleholder has carved out a legendary career through his tactical brilliance and indomitable spirit. He exemplifies the very spirit of the Pho3nix Foundation: rising from challenge, pushing past limits, and inspiring future generations.

Rebecca Adlington, Britain’s most decorated female Olympic swimmer, made history in Beijing in 2008 winning double gold and shattering a world record in the 800m freestyle. Widely credited with sparking renewed passion for British swimming, Adlington has transformed her sporting success into a thriving media career while championing youth sport through initiatives like SwimStars, which helps children across the UK gain access to essential swimming skills.

Alistair Brownlee stands tall as the first man to claim back-to-back Olympic golds in triathlon at London 2012 and Rio 2016. Fearless, tactical, and relentless, he redefined what it takes to win. Over a career spanning two decades, six-time triathlon world champion and Olympic silver medalist Javier Gomez exemplifies what it means to compete with heart. His legendary rivalry with Brownlee pushed the sport to new heights. Now, he’s giving back through Pho3nix Kids by Javier Gomez Noya events and workshops across Spain, sparking passion for sport in the next generation.

Maja Włoszczowska has left an indelible mark on mountain biking as a two-time Olympic silver medalist in cross-country cycling and world champion in both cross-country and marathon MTB formats. She continues to champion the role of women in sport as a member of the International Olympic Committee. The prestigious Jelenia Góra Trophy Maja Włoszczowska MTB Race in Poland is supported by the Pho3nix Foundation with a dedicated kids event designed to inspire the next generation of cyclists.

Australia’s John Steffensen – Olympic silver medalist in the 4x400m relay and two-time Commonwealth Games gold medalist – brings bold energy and purpose to the Pho3nix Gala. A mainstay of the Pho3nix Future Camps, he mentors promising young athletes worldwide to give them the skills needed to flourish in a professional sports career and beyond.

And then there’s Chris McCormack. Four-time world champion and Ironman legend, he earned his reputation through tactical brilliance, relentless grit, and a flair for the dramatic. He channels that same passion into shaping the future of sport as a mentor, innovator, and board member of the Pho3nix Foundation. His leadership continues to drive initiatives that open doors for young athletes and redefine what’s possible in sport.
