For Georgia Taylor-Brown, movement is everything

For Georgia Taylor-Brown, movement has always been part of life.

From discovering swimming as a child to running, cycling and eventually finding triathlon, sport has taken Georgia from her beginnings in Manchester to the biggest stages in the world.

Today, she is an Olympic gold, silver and bronze medallist, a world champion and one of the most accomplished triathletes of her generation. But behind the medals is something much simpler: a lifelong love of being active.

“Movement has always been a huge part of my life. It gives me freedom, confidence and a way to challenge myself, whether I’m training, racing or simply getting outside,” says Taylor-Brown.

“Sport has given me so many opportunities, and I think every young person deserves the chance to experience where movement can take them.”

That belief sits at the heart of Pho3nix Foundation.

For more than six years, Pho3nix has worked to give young people around the world greater access to sport and physical activity, creating opportunities to move, participate, build confidence and discover their own potential.

For some, movement is about having fun and finding a sport they love. For others, it can open the door to friendships, confidence and a healthier, more active life. And for a few, it can be the first step on a pathway to the highest levels of sport.

Georgia’s journey is a reminder that we never really know where that first opportunity to move might lead.

What matters is having the chance to begin.

Move with Pho3nix.
