BIOGRAPHY

Maja Wloszczowska is a two-time Olympic silver medalist in cross-country cycling, world MTB and MTB Marathon champion, multiple European Championships medalist, multiple Polish champion, and a member of the International Olympic Committee. For her achievements in sport, she received one of Poland’s highest civilian awards, the Golden Cross of Merit in 2008.

She co-organises the Jelenia Góra Trophy Maja Włoszczowska MTB Race, one of the highest-ranked XCO races in Central and Eastern Europe. Since 2023, the Maja Race has been under the Pho3nix Foundation’s patronage with a kids event promoting a love for sport among its young participants.

As a Pho3nix Foundation ambassador, Maja attends Pho3nix Kids events and selected workshops in primary schools to inspire students to embrace sports and physical activity.
