Tiana Murielle Rabarijaona

A member of the Malagasy national team since she was 12 years old, Murielle has been swimming since she was seven and has made it her life. Due to limited facilities back home in Madagascar where she could only swim seven months of the year, she has been training overseas under specialist coaching with the support of her family, friends, and now the Pho3nix Foundation.

When she arrives in Tokyo, she will carry the hopes of her family, community and her entire island nation.

Achievements:

#1 female, Federation Malgache De Natation rankings

         FINA Scholar, 2019-2020

         National record holder, freestyle LCM: 100, 200, 400, 1500

National record holder, freestyle SCM: 200, 400, 800

My objective is not only to swim fast and make people proud, but also to let the world know that Madagascar has great athletes.
