He began his rowing adventure at the age of 10. He very quickly began to find success rowing at international competitions. He won the title of Junior World Champion in 2013. Competing as a youngster, he won 4 medals at the Youth World Championships. A very big success in his career was competing at the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016. A very important part of his career was studying in the United States. During his studies (2014-2018), he competed in intercollegiate competitions winning the US Championship in 2016. His performance was awarded as the best rower, which he received three times between 2016 and 2018. After obtaining a BA in Sociology, he decided to continue his academic career at the University of Cambridge obtaining an MA. He also fulfilled his dream of competing in the Boat Race, a rowing race between teams from Oxford and Cambridge. In 2019, he was trailblazing in the pack winning a historic victory for Cambridge. At the World Championships, he failed to gain Olympic qualification for Tokyo nevertheless the silver medal is his greatest sporting achievement to date.
