Sport has accompanied her since childhood. For several years she danced ballet, then ballroom dancing and swimming. However, it was triathlon, which she started practising in high school, that turned out to be the most important for her. In 2016, she took part in several competitions, mainly at the sprint distance and once at the Olympic distance where she stood on the podium in the open category. Unfortunately, in August 2016, there was a car accident in which she was involved, resulting in multiple fractures. Doctors did not give her a chance to return to sport. However, she was determined and despite the paralysis of her lower body, she gave 100% of her commitment during her rehabilitation. After two weeks she was admitted to an orthopedic and rehabilitation hospital in Poznań and began even more intensive rehabilitation, as well as undergoing two additional operations on her spine, thanks to which she regained feeling in her legs and made great progress in her rehabilitation. The Paralympic Games are her biggest dream and sporting goal. She wants to prove to herself, and to everyone who has always believed in her, that it's worth fighting for and not giving up.
The only time you should ever look back is to see how far you've come.
